McCullough's collection of correspondence, oaths, and other paper (1783-1806) related to American statesman Alexander Hamilton. Much of the correspondence consists of letters written to Nathaniel Miller from William Pierce and Hamilton concerning Pierce's dispute with Mr. Auldjo. Several letters relate to Hamilton's death and his estate. The oaths are signed by various people including Hamilton and pertain to allegiance or political office of the state of New York.
